Welcome to Tall Pines Family Dentistry
2008, Dr. Zach Hazelton opened Hazelton Family Dentistry and started serving the Bemidji area. He practiced solo from 2008-2019. From 2008-2017 the office was located near the hospital. In 2017 the practice was relocated to the newly remodeled building that was formerly the home of Dick’s Plumbing & Heating.
Dr. Kevin Johnson joined his brother’s dental practice in 1987 and practiced for 31 years at Lakeview Dental Clinic. After Dr. Rick Johnson retired, Dr. Kevin and Dr. Zach were both looking for the professional stimulation and improved patient care that a group practice can offer. After much thought and planning they decided to merge their teams and practices. As part of the transition, the practice was renamed Tall Pines Family Dentistry.
Our Mission
The mission of Tall Pines Dentistry is to improve dental access in the Bemidji Area and provide contemporary dental care that is patient focused, comfortable, effective, efficient, and safe. We will strive to become the dental home of choice for many families and individuals in the area. We understand that there is a strong correlation between oral health and overall health. Our treatment strategy will reflect this as we will focus heavily upon the prevention of disease.
